Ewooks – Data Deletion Request

This page explains how you can request the deletion of personal data stored in the DriveNoter application and related Ewooks services.

How to Request Data Deletion

Send your data deletion request by email to support@ewooks.fi.

Use a subject line such as: Data Deletion Request / DriveNoter.

  • The email address associated with your DriveNoter account (if added)
  • The Device ID, which can be found in the app under the Store menu.

We may request additional information, if necessary, to verify account ownership before processing the deletion request.

  • Basic user account information
  • Driving records and related entries.
  • Reports and other data saved by the user.

What Data May Be Retained After Deletion?

In certain situations, Ewooks may be required to retain limited data if necessary for:

  • to comply with legal obligations.
  • for accounting or contractual obligations.
  • for security purposes, the prevention of misuse, or the resolution of disputes.

Data Retention Periods.

  • the data requested for deletion will be processed within a reasonable period of time.
  • Data is normally removed from active systems within 30 days at the latest.
  • Data stored in backups may be deleted with a delay; however, such data is normally removed within 90 days at the latest.
  • Data that must be retained due to legal requirements or other obligations will be kept for the period required by the applicable obligation.
